Our Spectra Vision is a new work by liz West as part of the exhibition Colour and Vision. Through: Through the Eyes of Nature at Natural history Museum, London.
The installation is one that creates a vivid environment that mixes luminous colours and radiant light. it is aimed at arousing one’s visual perception of colour by displaying an atmospheric illusion, replicating the division of white light through large scale prism, prisms made from special colour filter glass beaming rays from every colour of the rainbow.
This artwork entices our vision, it invites us to explore our relations towards colour and how we see it.
