These vehicles were created from recycled parts of gearboxes, motors, chains and crankshafts found in the junkyard. It established the world’s only collection.
The Gallery of Steel Figures located in the Polish city of Pruszków near Polish capital Warsaw is an entire museum devoted to dozens of sculptures built from scrap metal salvaged from a local scrapyard. Their most recent addition is a collection of four iconic cars designed and built by roughly 50 artists over the last 5 years.
The collection boasts a Merc 300 SL, a Bugatti Veyron, a Maserati GranTurismo, and a Lamborghini Aventador model, Fiat 500 ( oh, and a motorbike too). The steel vehicles are built completely to scale and include functional doors and replica interiors obviously the artists are sticklers for detail. The Gallery of Steel plans global expansion.
A pity there is no Ferrari which would have fit in perfectly right next to the SL. Hopefully, a 250 GTO might pop up by the second display at the 2017 Dubai Auto Show (14-18 December 2017)., which will be presented specially for this event built vehicles.
