Christopher David White is an American artist incited by nature. His newest series; Human Nature featured new sculptures made of clay that appear as though they were crafted from wood. White was born in Indiana though currently based in Richmond Virginia. His career started with drawing and painting until 2008 when he began working with clay. He graduated with a Bachelors of fine art in Ceramics in 2012 from Indiana University and then proceeded to obtain a Masters in Fine art in crafts and material studies from Virginia Commonwealth university Richmond in 2015.

White’s work has been displayed on various eminent art publications ranging from Beautiful Decay to This is Colossal and My Modern Met. He also received the award for Most Environmentally Conscious in 2014. His handcrafted Sculptures are mostly made from clay often looking like rusted metal, decaying pieces of wood and several other deteriorating objects. He further explains that his Hyper realistic art work explores the connection between nature, ephemerality, man and his perception of his environment.
